Overview:

This instructor-led, live on-site training is aimed at managers who wish to develop their capability to coach and lead their colleagues towards excellence. The course gives new and developing managers the confidence and ability to implement established and well-tried principles of management technique. The course is based on five key pillars of management performance: defining role purpose, emphasising strengths, enabling change, influencing and empowering colleagues. Whilst we do not promote one particular managerial style or pattern, the course is behavioural science led; evidence-based principles are presented in a practical and pragmatic format. The course is highly interactive and engaging requiring candidates to actively participate from the outset.

The course gives risk and safety managers the confidence and ability to implement an established and effective organisational culture assessment process. The course will introduce the SI-9 product which has been developed to provide an efficient and accurate methodology to measure multiple elements of your organization's culture. The periodic measurement of your corporate culture not only enhances your risk visibility but provides evidence of your personal and corporate due diligence in risk management.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

- Recognise the signs and signals of vulnerable corporate risk culture.
- Understand the personal and corporate liability implications of risk and safety management.
- Adapt their risk management systems to become more resilient.
- Design an effective cultural measurement system based on the SI-9 assessment system.
- Develop and implement an effective organizational cultural management strategy.
