Professional Scrum Master I | PSM I (accredited training course with Scrum.org exam and certification) Training Course

This 2 day course is suitable for any IT professionals who are interested in using the Waterfall model and how people have traditionally tried to deal with its shortcomings - including, but not limited to, Agile approaches.

The aim of the 1st day is to give an overview of these approaches enabling you to decide what might suit them in your environment.

The 2nd day looks at project management techniques and good practices that have been identified from Agile, and which can be applied in a Waterfall or Agile context.

The training "Scrum for Advanced Scrum Masters + Preparation for PSM II" is aimed at experienced Scrum Masters who want to expand their competencies, gain a deeper understanding of how Scrum works, and become true leaders in an agile approach. The course covers the interpretation of the Scrum Guide according to the vision of Scrum.org, which is crucial for the PSM II exam. Participants gain practical knowledge about comprehensiveness, empirical approaches, Scrum values, and the role of the Scrum Master as a leader. Additionally, the course prepares participants for the PSM II exam, based on the latest version of the Scrum Guide.

This course focuses on the business analyst role to be successful on Agile projects. Course participants will learn how to cooperate with the Team, Product Owner, Scrum Master as well as with the Customer to facilitate the development process. Participants will go through a mock project practising common scenarios.

This 2 day course is suitable for any IT professionals who are interested in implementing Iterative Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage software development. This course is particularly suited to project managers, team leaders, developers and customers of software development wishing to have a stake holding in the development process.

This course has been created for test managers, quality assurance staff, testers, software developers, project managers and management in order to explain how the Agile project management frameworks (notably SCRUM) deal with testing.

At the end of the course, each of the delegates will design and execute a test plan for a sample application (it can be an actual client application if available)

This 2-day course provides a brief introduction to Agile software testing. It deals with foundational test concepts, within the context of Agile (Scrum) development and uses Crispin & Gregory’s Agile Testing Quadrants model as a framework to explore contemporary principles and practices of Agile testing.

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum in a highly practical way. Students hit the ground running through instruction and team-based exercises.

Working in a series of Sprints, teams of students build a software application, thereby facing real-life problems. The mechanics, roles, principles and (empirical) process of Scrum are demonstrated. Common missteps and misunderstandings are discussed so students grow a higher awareness of their symptoms.

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is the training for teams and anyone wanting to experience the Scrum way of working. The course also provides the foundation of knowledge needed for role-focused training for Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Developers, as offered in Scrum.org’s Professional Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Product Owner and Professional Scrum Development classes.

The class introduces the mechanics of Scrum, as well as provides insights into complexity, team-based collaboration and self-organization as essential elements in mastering Scrum. Students will experience how the Scrum framework improves product development efforts.

From its emphasis on practical application the course exposes common missteps, increases the awareness of the associated symptoms, and provides prescriptive guidance to avoid going off track.

Students are challenged to act in terms of Scrum. They take home an increased understanding of how to collaborate better and work as a team.

Professional Scrum Certification

All participants completing the Applying Professional Scrum course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment. The industry-recognized PSM I certification requires a minimum passing score of 85%. APS class participants who attempt the PSM I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.

You are also entitled to a discount on the PSM II assessment once passing PSM I.

Professional Agile Leadership Essentials is a 2 day workshop to equip leaders and managers of Agile teams along with their Product Owners and Scrum Masters to help their organizations change by providing participants with:

Professional Agile Leadership Certification

All participants completing the Professional Agile Leadership - Essentials course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Agile Leadership I (PAL I) certification assessment. PAL-E class participants who attempt the PAL I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.

In this course in the Netherlands, students will learn how Scrum Teams can add additional Kanban practices while continuing to work with Scrum, all without changing Scrum.

After completing this course, the participant will:

In this 2-day Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) workshop, students will simulate a large software development project using the Nexus™ framework. The workshop is delivered using an end-to-end case study where students work together to organize and simulate a scaled software development project. Throughout the workshop, students will be introduced to more than 50 practices that can be used to help reduce complexity and dependencies at scale. The workshop will provide students with an understanding of how to launch, structure, staff, and manage a large Agile project using Scrum. Throughout the workshop, students will learn the infrastructure, tools and practices needed to successfully scale Scrum to maximize the value of their software development initiative. By taking a hands-on approach, students are fully engaged in the learning process where they see first-hand the challenges in large-scale development initiatives and solutions for getting the work back on track.
